• Cobblestoning refers to larger, discrete filling defects surrounded by thin, intersecting, curvilinear collections of barium, as in this case.

• The barium collections represent surrounding serpiginous, confluent, denuded mucosa.

• The filling defects represent intact islands of remaining mucosa.
